Despite the name, this site sells nothing. It exists to translate the published literature on four research peptides into plain, checkable English.
What this site is
Peptide Discount Shop is a literature digest built around one specific angle: the economics of research peptides — why synthesis complexity, purity testing and cold-chain handling drive what these molecules cost to make, and why that structural reality is easy to confuse with quality. It is not a vendor, does not list prices for any specific supplier, and does not sell or broker anything. Every specific claim about mechanism, trial outcomes, or safety on this site is drawn from the cited literature on the References page, not from marketing copy.
How to read it
Each compound page keeps three kinds of information visually and structurally separate: what a peer-reviewed trial or study found (cited with a bracketed number), what people in research-use communities report anecdotally (always labeled anecdotal, not clinical evidence, and never attached to a dose), and what the safety literature explicitly flags as unknown or theoretical. Collapsing those three categories into one undifferentiated list of "effects" is, in our view, the most common way peptide information misleads readers, and we have tried hard not to do it here.
Editorial stance
None of the four compounds covered on this site is described here as safe for unsupervised human use, and none of the pages recommend a dose. Retatrutide and BPC-157 and CJC-1295 are investigational or unapproved; tirzepatide is FDA-approved for specific medical indications under prescription, and material sold outside that pharmacy channel under research labeling carries none of the manufacturing oversight that approval implies. Where the evidence is thin, we say so plainly rather than filling the gap with confident-sounding language.
Why the economics angle
Most peptide-information sites answer 'does it work' and stop there. This site adds a second question that gets skipped far more often than it should: what actually determines what one of these molecules costs to make honestly? A short, unmodified 15-residue chain like BPC-157 is a fundamentally different manufacturing problem than a 39-residue, fatty-diacid-conjugated molecule like tirzepatide or retatrutide, or a DAC-linked long-acting analog like CJC-1295. Synthesis steps, purification passes, analytical verification, and cold-chain logistics all scale with molecular complexity, and none of that is visible from a price number alone. We think a reader who understands those cost drivers is better equipped to evaluate any specific claim they encounter elsewhere — including the skepticism a price that looks too good deserves.

This site is written for people who have already encountered these compound names — in a forum, a clinic conversation, or a news story — and want a grounded starting point before reading further. It assumes no prior background in pharmacology, glosses technical terms on first use, and always separates cited trial findings from community anecdotes. It does not assume, and should never be read as implying, that any reader intends to obtain or use any of these compounds.
